Peace of Mind Therapy and Consultation is a fresh and innovative therapeutic centre in Winnipeg. We offer traditional Clinical Psychology therapy and psycho-educational assessment services as well as innovative and effective therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (therapy utilizing horses). Our private practice strives to assist individuals and families to lead happier, healthier lives.

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist and EMDR Certified Therapist. Having studied and practiced a variety of therapies, I am flexible in my approach and can incorporate adjunct strategies into my therapeutic approach. My primary approach to therapy is from an EMDR Therapy perspective, which honours your past and your present experience.

Extensive Background working with all Ages.
I have an extensive background working with children, adolescents, and adults. Having worked in school, medical, and wide-scale prevention programs, I have gathered a unique set of skills. Areas of interest include the assessment and treatment of trauma and adverse life events (including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, bullying, divorce, car accidents, childhood trauma), Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, deliberate self-harm (e.g., cutting), issues related to childhood, as well as working with parents and children to reduce child behavior problems and increase positive outcomes for families.
