I am an experienced psychotherapist/clinical counsellor with over 30 years dedicated to the field of mental health. I completed graduate degrees in counselling and therapy at the University of Toronto and University of Manitoba and am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC). With an integrative approach, I combine mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidence-based techniques to develop personalized treatment plans for each client. I create a safe and dignified space where you can be heard, take risks, and find clarity.
Some of the issues I guide people through include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, where we work together to help you learn about yourself and change negative patterns of thought and behavior. Together, we can explore your emotions in a judgement free space, moving toward growth and positive change. My practice is primarily with adults, and I am especially interested in helping women navigate life changes such as parenting, grief, job transition and retirement, supporting aging parents, divorce, and menopause.
