Welcome! I am a psychotherapist offering one-on-one, tailored therapy and assessment to adults, children, and teens in a professional private practice setting. I offer an integrative therapy experience, drawing from evidence-based approaches (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, and Client-Centered).
I provide therapy for a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, sleep, disordered eating, parenting, relationships, life transitions, health issues, and self-esteem. I have a special interest in women’s health, such as perinatal anxiety and depression, infertility, and birth-related trauma or loss. I have worked in a range of settings including community-based and hospital environments, providing services to diverse individuals with unique needs.
In session, I aid individuals on their journey of self- improvement, efficacy, agency, insight, and growth. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify areas in need of intervention, psychoeducation, and support. When working with children, I incorporate play and creative interventions to maximize results.
I obtained my Psychology Bachelor of Arts-Honours degree from the University of British Columbia, and my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Manitoba. I am in the process of completing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba. I am completing my pre-doctoral residency within the Department of Clinical Health Psychology, Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba. I am supervised by Dr. Kelly Penner Hutton, Registered Psychologist and Clinic Director at Peace of Mind Therapy and Consultation.
