My vision was to create a therapeutic clinic that feels like a home – a place you can kick up your feet, relax, and feel safe. We have created an amazing therapy team that is dedicated to supporting our community members.
I am currently not taking clients for individual therapy but will be offering group therapy services in the future.
At Peace of Mind Therapy and Consultation my time is split between providing supervision to therapists, consultation services for trained EMDR therapists, psycho-educational assessments, and group and individual therapy. I provide supervision to Ph.D Students, Psychology Interns, as well as Clinical Psychology Candidates and Psychological Associate Candidates who are working toward registration with the Psychological Association of Manitoba. I am an avid learner and continue to expand my knowledge base to provide quality services in both therapy and supervision.
EMDR consultation services are provided to therapists who are trained in EMDR Therapy. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDR Consultant, and EMDR Trainer.
My training in a variety of evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic therapies, and play therapies allow me to be flexible in meeting your needs whether you are a child, teen, or adult. I am able to adapt to the needs of individuals and families to support them in their journey to discovering peace of mind. Abby, a golden retriever service dog, assists with therapy. Abby loves to greet people in the waiting room and puts a smile on the faces of those she meets.
